2008 Kidney Kar Rally

sgfleet is proud to have sponsored Kar 41 in the 2008 Kidney Kar Rally.  The rally started in Sydney in May and finished in Mudgee via Mildura.

The Kar 41 team, with team owner Khaled El Sayed, drove a 1971 Toyota Crown built entirely from personal funds or gifts/donations from sponsors. This was the third attempt at the Kidney Car Rally for Khaled following his first entry in 1997 and his 2007 entry.

Kar 41 was awarded the trophy for the 2nd highest fundraiser ($24,845)and was also awarded the most prestigious award on offer - The REDEX memorial Trophy awarded to the Kar that truly epitomizes the spirit of an endurance rally showing persistence, endurance ingenuity and the ability to keep going.
